Regarding the Times Square post office, one interesting feature is that they have a separate slot inside to mail back your Netflix discs.
I don’t go to many post offices so I don’t know how common this is and I don’t know if it will help my discs get back any faster, but I always make a point to swing by there when mailing my discs back.
M4L, I am really sorry to hear that. It is such a drain to work in a contracting environment. Working in financial services has been pretty hard too. Some huge shakeup is in the works here too.
the post office is the WORST. i tried to pick up a package there once, and they wouldn’t give it to me since i didn’t have an ID that showed that i lived at my current address!! wtf?!?
MM i agree with you about the hateful speech on the internet, unfortunately peoples ugly sides often show when it comes to politics which is why i avoid that stuff like the plague. not worth it and far too ugly. head in the clouds is the way to go in this world if you really want to be happy
“yeah that’s what i was thinking… you are running from new brooklyn types because you dont like them, but you havent even moved there and youre making fun of the locals? um what? isnt that exactly the kinds of people you DONT like in brooklyn?”
Ok kettle, please list groups of people you approve of. Black female celebrities don’t count.
tiptoe, The lines there can be horrible and many of the employees can be rude, but I’ve also had friendly and effective service there when shipping packages.
My guess is that the best way to get the package is to bit the bullet and go there in person.
Sadly, your best bet may be to go there and pick up the packages yourself instead of trying for redelivery. But do it sooner than later…I was told by my P.O. (a different one) that after a while they will stamp the packages “return to sender” and ship them back to where they came from.
