Donatella – they do that to my house as well. But on days where there is no snow or rain. There is no rhyme or reason to it — my guess is that there is a substitute postal carrier that day who either doesn’t know or doesn’t care that they can get access to the boxes using the key keeper.
DH, BH posted the link to the syrian community NY times articles for you to check out in the Top Residential Sales thread.
M4L, I am in the same shoes. I barely keep any personal belonging on my desk for that reason. Supposingly I am really liked here but who knows what tomorrow is going to bring and when we’ll get downsized. Nothing to do with economy, toy industry has always been very unstable and volatile.
Regarding the PO, I felt myself going into a little fury this morning — noticed that our trusty postal carriers answer to the snow is to throw the mail behind the grated door to the ground floor, rather than walk up the (shoveled) stairs, open the lock box and put the mail in boxes. So I get to distribute damp mail to tenants. Don’t I have to be bonded to distribute mail? I don’t want this job, which is why I spent the money in the first place to put in a lockbox and mailboxes in the lobby.
But then, I have enough things to worry about in life. Do I need another rant-worthy source of annoyance? Put it anywhere you want. If something gets lost, tough shit, I guess.

I don’t go to many post offices so I don’t know how common this is and I don’t know if it will help my discs get back any faster, but I always make a point to swing by there when mailing my discs back.
um you do realize that’s so the post office employees have a nice little seperate area that they can pick and choose which movies they want to bring home that night and return the next day to work, right? it’s they’re free personal little video store. youre better off NOT putting it in that slot.
“Can you imagine if everything Rob says happens in the world actually did happen?”
and everyone would look like raven simone and exist only on food that can be found in a bodega
Can you imagine if everything Rob says happens in the world actually did happen?
Sodom and Gomorrah

If I ever have need of in-depth post office usage, the one on King’s Highway is clean, has like 5 windows, and no lines at all.

Rob, what proof do you have of that?
