Rob, your grandmother’s name was Duke???
Rhys is a lovely Welsh name but usually a boy.

My last name doesn’t go with any names (trust me on that!) so I felt like I could name her whatever I wanted. I needed a J name because she was named for my grandfather. One day I went to Barnes & Noble and went through about 25 baby name books. There are A LOT of J names for girls! Of course the Internet wasn’t such a helpful (?) tool in 1997-98.
Blowfish, I am sure you know about the Social Security Administration list of the most popular names, year by year?
My Akita’s name was Toshi, a very common Japanese name. Toshihinko being the formal version.
A Cuban bf of mine had a little chick named Clotilda.

mine were Duke (not his real name, he was a Robert) and Dee-Dee lol. which is why i lol’d when i got my dog and his name was Duke.
