Wine connoiseurs are basically fart sniffers. It’s a classic example of choice creating false hierarchy. You get a bunch of choices, then people attribute value to them and rank them based on all kinds of soft fuzzy criteria but when you really get down to it it’s basically just scarcity and snob appeal (and people reacting to scarcity and snob appeal).
Lech, it’s ok! I’m glad they are getting work. They (and their mom, with whom I went to the movies last NYE while my daughter babysat) are very good friends.
Don’t bother putting out trash. There will be no pickup until sanitation is finished plowing.
Forget it for this week.
By next week most of the snow will be long gone.
