  1. i think i might go to some coffee shops in the neighborhood today and set up in the corner and give tarot readings. bad idea? some places are cool with that as it draws people in, some places frown upon that.. does anyone know of any places in park slope that would be okay with me doing that? the psychic part of my brain has a total boner right now and ive been working the voyager deck that donatella gave me like miss cleo in the snack aisle!

  2. John Stossel used to read for me on Dial-A-Money Saving Tip for TelCo: he stuttered & it was all his voice training that led to his being an announcer. He used to be a nice guy & then something blew his mind apart.

  3. also im assuming the church was christian? but im not really sure. i think we were catholic (went to sunday school til i was in 2nd grade and dropped out cuz it was kinda annoying and the last thing an 8 year old can be asked to do is give up a sunday for something that, at the time, seemed really stupid. all we ever talked about in those classes was the importance of night “quarreling” to this day i cant stand that stupid word. i also barfed (literally) all over myself at my communion because it was like 4000 degrees outside and there was no air conditioning in the church. i did like eating those little jesus christ wafers tho. they melt on your tongue. what is that stuff anyway? just a cracker?

  4. No, rob, I do not celebrate Kwanzaa. It’s great if one choses to truly live by the principals in the ceremony, and takes the whole thing seriously, but if it’s only a chance to have a “black” holiday, I’ll pass. Christmas is good enough for me.

  5. BSM- i always wonder why a congregation would put up with that? Look at the Jimmy Swaggarts and Franklin Graham of the world. Swaggart uused to live high on the hog. Graham is not living under vows of poverty.
