My 25-yr-old counters are Corian, Color Core & butcher block – all still in great shape despite a ton of use.
I an not a big fan of granite either. I really like soapstone. 20 years from now there will be some new trendy countertop material.
Too bad. So many other pretty surfaces out there. I feel like granite has become the ‘avocado green’ of this time.
Actually more like 50 years.
Yes, Snappy, it’s been a trend for about 30 years. 😛
I’m not a fan of granite, but I suppose that’s still the hot trend.
And an island, and GRANITE!!! Shillstoner is probably rolling over on his fainting couch.
I saw that Dave. I also noticed that he has a nice looking kitchen…WITH RECESSED LIGHTING!
