I went to an x-mas party in Scarsdale Sat nt. Party was in a 1920’s Tudor Style Box.
Met a guy who has an amazing commodity trading business concentrating only in coffe, sugar cocoa and OJ.
This guy has offices in NYC and London and even has a full time team working on weather forecasting. Also has people visiting farms in all areas where these products are grown.
Skyrink at Chelsea piers is good, crowded. Prospect Park would be good too….. though I suspect there are a lot of “fall down” people there. Urban losers who can’t walk much less SKATE.
Socially I wouldn’t live anywhere but the river towns. The idea of living in a place like scarsdale or rye makes me want to eat a .45 caliber sandwich.
No rink in Prospect Park now. Hopefully next year the new rinks will be open.
I don’t like crowded rinks. I like to get out there and really skate…folks who can’t skate wind up in my way. Then I’m just angry and cold. No dice.
m4l, our old Chinese babysitter talked about buying a house in Bronxville. Lots of Chinese there?
oh, no CGar, I would never have one of those VANITY plates.
It makes it much easier to track you down.

Isn’t Bronxville actually part of Yonkers, but folks there are too snooty to admit it?
bronxville = no freakin way.

Daughter went to Wollman Rink in Central Park a week ago Saturday. Said it was really, really crowded.
