I’ll definitely try to make some games next season. Sounds like a blast.
Biff, to see the Devils is not that crazy logistics wise.
Benson, you can get cheap Yankee Stadium tickets (non bleacher) for 20 bucks. Not to say, the Cyclones aren’t fun to go to.

I second Legion’s Cyclones endorsement. My wife and I went about 5 times last summer, and I’ll take it any day of the week over going to Yankee Stadium or Citifield. Nice family atmosphere, you can see the action up close, you get the breeze coming in from the ocean and you can take a stroll along the boardwalk after the game. Baseball as it was meant to be – not some “spectacle” operation that requires a mortgage or a corporate expense account to attend.
This summer the Cyclones and the Wall of Remembrance will be honoring a veteran at each game so please do attend. I can get free tickets for anyone to some of the games so let me know if you’re interested. The Cyclones are fabulous!

Legion, the Cyclones are definitely on my list. Issue has been that they’re away for a good chunk of the summer and I didn’t see many weekend day games on the schedule. Will revisit it in Summer 2011.
This guy was an experienced sailor (though he had terrible judgement), and I wasn’t, although I had some experience. I was relying on him for everything on this trip. 44 foot boat, he was captain and navigator. I never even checked weather. But a very bad squall came in, part of a tropical storm system, bad winds and waves and he almost fell off the boat when trying to get down the mainsail, which happened to tear in half. I had the shakes when we finally got in and think I had multiple cocktails which didn’t even register on my adrenalin charged body.
