I did speak to Benson who was apparently expecting me to be just like Andrea Dworkin. Legion arrived as we were carrying the gifts to Santa’s sleigh. Had to get home before my daughter’s bedtime.
You might believe that the voters were fooled, but the point remains: in 2004 Bush took his case to the American people, and they vindicated his decision to invade Iraq. He laid it on the line.
It’s like I said before,
it’s not a question of which system of governance will do more for the people,
it is a question of which system of governance will kill less of them.
Once you realize this, the rest is posturing for moral highground. You’ve said yourself that Catch-22 is one of your favorite books, remember the little old Italian man?
“when the fascists came, I cheered loudly.”
2004
122.3 million people voted in the presidential contest, an increase of 16.9 million. President Bush secured a plurality of 3,000,176 votes (2.45 percent) over Sen. Kerry, the Democratic challenger.

“when the fascists came, I cheered loudly.”
“what did you do when the Americans came?”
“I cheered even louder.”
“He won that election by a decisive margin.”
Yes he did. His team ran a masterful campaign and proved you can fool most of the people most of the time. But not all of them.
“lol, no wonder the dems lost so badly in November.”
There you go again, legion.
Legion, Chanukah is over.
“is your usual response to informed discussion on controversial issues, to dismiss the opposition?”
Pot=Kettle. This is one of your favorite tactics, legion! So of course you don’t like it!

Yes he won but I don’t think 2.45 percent is a decisive margin.
“Yes, because the true aim of all American invasions has been to spread democracy. It’s never been about anything else.”
Snort!
