DIBS, my point is both parties are STILL in the “we fucked up big” tent and neither has done anything worth stepping out of that tent to brag they’ve done anything great yet. Right now, it’s all a “lesser of the 2 evils” debate and frankly we didnt vote politicians into office to do that shit and brag to us they’re great cause they managed to pick the lesser of the 2 evils
Also, I’m officially repulsed by the republicans. I thought it was totally despicable of them to hold the unemployed hostage over extending tax cuts for the “wealthy”, especially when most studies on consumer habits show they tend to save that money and not spend it.
WELL, NOW THE LEFT WING DEMOCRATS ARE DOING IT!!!!!!!!!
okay im a moron, nothing i ever do ever comes easy, there is always a snag in the road. for the first time since like 4th grade i decided to send people christmas cards. and i got a huge box of them and spent last night making them out to people. on facebook i was asking everyone whenever they were in chat for their addresses so i can send them cards. but on the envelopes i just wrote addresses and for some stupid reason didnt write peoples names. will the post office deliver mail without names? now i have a giant stack of cards with addresses and they are sealed. so i will have to reopen them i guess or just send them out, but i put gold embossed stamps on the seal so i have to break them or slice open the top, which will look shady. anyway will post office deliver without names?
honestly, i think ive had enough of christmas. between the tree mess up and the card messup, it’s just not worth the fucking time. anyone else get annoyed during the holidays when you try to do stuff only to consistently fail?
M4L, capital is the fuel of economic expansion. Take that away and there is no chance for job creation.
Just having the raw potential for expansion does not guarantee it will happen.
For that we need legislation that promotes business formation and innovation.
We also need a cultural shift towards self reliance and personal enterprise and responsibility.
Can I get some names of legitimate economists who believes extending these tax cuts are vital to economic recovery and will create jobs? It’s been the republican mantra, but I haven’t read any legitimate sources that back them up.

but there has to be some logic somewhere of why choosing the soc. sec. tax and not income.
I would think either – right wing dislike of soc. security in principle– or wanting only for working people….that is retirees will not be getting tax decrease.
Ishtar, listen to Tom Keane on Bloomberg. He interviews economists from all schools of thought daily. Overwhelming consensus on extending cuts.

“CH – is Mr. B gonna post the link to the holiday party on the main page today?”
