Doesn’t sound like shortage of capital out there holding back expansion. Just willingness to spend it and/or lend it.
Companies have to see some visibility of demand rising before they will commit to more spending/hiring. That will only come if consumers loosen the purse strings which certainly WILL NOT happen if taxes go up Jan 1
oh and im wearing slightly damp clothes right now. mad laundry to do last night, rush home… there are two washers and two dryers in my laundry room… i needed both, but im putting clothes in and a neighbor comes in and is like oh, a line ahhh. and im like oh, you can take one, ill just use one. you know, being nice! cuz i know how annoying it is to wait for that. whatever. i wait the 30 minutes go back in the laundry room to take my wash out to put in the dryer and she was there putting her clothes in the free dryer before mine! grrrrrrrrrr! okay so i had to wait til she was done (the other dryer was being used) and i open my washer and the fucking washer didnt drain so i had to hand wring all my clothes in the slop sink! it doesnt pay being nice when it comes to laundry.
not only am i damp right now but i smell like laundry detergent, i dont think the detergent got washed out of the clothes!!!!
deep in the bowels of my closet i found another fur coat tho.
I do listen to Keane, but no one of those economists suggested those tax cuts would create jobs though I do get the impression they believe the extension has the ability to keep things from getting worse. I’m asking specifically for the names of economists who believe these tax cuts will create jobs.

Uhm…that already exists. That’s why we have some of the worst social services of highly developed countries. We already tell a pretty good percentage of the population that they’ll get the worst of everything (education, healthcare, housing, etc.) if they can’t provide it for themselves. Unfortunately over half of these people are children. Womp. Womp.
so cut all your badmouthing of the PO then. Fedex wouldn’t do that.
(UPS is good but I hate Fedex).
And that wonderful employer Walmart won’t be paying their new employees $1 per hour differential for working on sundays anymore.

Hiya, CH. Just figured most people need a reminder. I’m happy to send Mr. B an e-mail asking him to post on the main page if you would like.

Months ago I deviated from my usualo stock selection methodology and bought a lottery ticket: Orexygen.
Just came in. Yahoo!
PO will still deliver them.
I got a letter delivered to me after the only thing on it was my cell phone number and the post office called me up!!!!
And no, I’m not sharing the details.
Well, maybe.
