  1. oh i see dave, u think i meant individual owners in like a co-op building, etc. no, im talking about large rental buildings like mine is. this person at fios is still asking for the names and contact info of all the people that work for the building, see arkady’s post! i still think it’s inappropriate to give out that info to some random fios person. sorry but that’s fishy.

  2. “Conspiracy Theory of the Day:
    Mr. B = EnglishKills”

I just looked at his profile. It’s hilarious. He says he’s 29, but he’s been in Brooklyn since 1978, so unless he counts the years before he was so much as a gleam in his parents’ eyes, he’s at least 32.

Maybe he’s the What on meds – some of his posts, especially those to dave, are very What-like, e.g., “Who are these people who move here and would rather live in the ghetto and overpay?”

  3. still remember my early days in Seattle walking around with my umbrella – which apparently is a good sign that I’m a newbie or a tourist as residents wear raincoats sans umbrella

  4. no dave, read again…

“Provide him with the # of units in your building (remember you must have over 60!), the name and contact info of the property manager/owner, the super, and your board president or point of contact if you live in a Co-Op (if you live in a condo or a rental building, don’t worry about this:

that is NOT just asking for the name of management. that’s asking for contact info for the super, manager, owner, board president, etc. besides who the hell even knows that kinda stuff?

  5. people with those giant umbrellas on crowded city streets are just flat out ass-holes, there’s no way around it. same people who will stop in the middle of the stairs on a crowded subway to check a text message.
