*rob* and Dave, re energy efficient lights on Rockefeller
tree…..AGREE WITH YOU BOTH!!!!
That’s like saying…..let’s not give one another little happy trinkets and bright cheap cheerful presents in the office…….LET’S BUY A YAK for a poor person.
NO YAKS! NO ENERGY EFFICIENT BULBS on ROCKEFELLER TREE!!!
Really! My allergy doc was saying that he wasn’t sure we should go that route. I have same allergies: Dust mites, grasses, ragweed, cats, (and one other thing I can’t recall – plant) and now, apparently, also cow’s milk. : (
Denton – well, I’m from Long Island, so is DH – it’s in our nature to drive and shop where there is ample parking in a lot at the store you are shopping in!
I love LI 🙂
ok thanks on the tip on stocks
Things that are great about living in a poor neighborhood:
-people talk to each other
(and know more about each others business)
-cheap clothing
-cheap food (healthy and unhealthy)
-your front window is better than cable TV
(no need for reality shows whatsoever)
-cheap dates
-largely self contained, no need to travel
hey cobble… the usual hay fever stuff, grass in the spring, ragweed in the fall, and cats all the time. I get it really really bad, bad enuf to get asthma from it. Even all the good drugs that have been released don’t help during the worst of the season, I’ve built up some kind of immunity. But shots are magic.
“It’s funny to see who really does their shopping there vs. people who just like to stroll ”
haha yeah – what’s even funnier is how dressed up people get to go shopping in that place. i had to go to one of those stores a couple of years ago to get some shoes resoled and when i walked in it looked like they thought i was gonna rob the place.
my personal favs are the mother/daughter duos in roosevelt field. typically the mother is dressed way too young/trendy for her age and buying her daughter gross stuff like Juicy C. sweatsuits and shit
