Tricky rob. You can only ask about a conviction if it’s job-related. I guess if you’re interviewing to be a bank teller, embezzlement is ok.
As an employer, I’d be pretty pissed if a women I hired came in the door pregnant and I didn’t know. Pretty disruptive in a small biz when an employee leaves for a few months. And often women who insist they will be coming back (with every intention) don’t.
