    jessi, thanks. I think I’ll try MAF. I got c.1863 handcolored maps of Vermont, Connecticut and New York/New England at the Flea a few months back, and I want to get them framed and don’t feel like taking them to my friends’ gallery in CT.

All things being equal, employers (regardless of small, medium, or large firm) will NOT LIKE to hire someone who is pregnant & due in a few months. if a firm is hiring now in this econ, it’s a pressing need else they likely are not going to hire. So to train you then have to scramble to get some fill-in for 2 months, etc is not what they prefer or like.

    that said though, be a little selfish. Getting a gig is priority one. worry about employer not liking it later. it’s better to have a gig, med insurance, maturnity leave, and another round of unemploymt (ie if they decide to fire you later) than current situation.
