the people who live in my building are such whiny little bitches. someone called down to my doorman at 4pm yesterday to make a noise complaint about my apartment. wtf? i haven’t gotten a noise complaint in the 8 years i’ve lived in NYC. passive aggressive fuckers trying to turn my building into a suburb.
Gem- congratulations! Wonderful news! My sister had the same experience when she was pregnant with my nephew- the ultrasound was very clear on his gender. She still has that picture-
Arkady- the url you posted doesn’t work. At least on my computer.
Cgar – I am noticing that more than ever, b/c for years things went pretty much the way I had been planning except for a few bumps, but perhaps b/c I am looking back those bumps were probably pits when I was going through it….
Rob – so you are really Robert the Third?
also LOVED Garbage Pail Kids!
M4L-I hear you, I just have to play my cards right. but b/c I know that most companies would be apprehensive in hiring me now and then having to leave in 4 months for a 2 month mat leave is why I am applying to temp agencies to get me over the hump. I have cobra until June. So I have the baby in march, start applying again for real jobs in May and hope for the best…again….. – OY life certainly doesn’t always go the way you plan.
“I’ve won several apt lotteries for rentals and coops and was cleared for all of them;
99% of them were in the South Bronx area.
I checked out the Red Hook water front area in Brooklyn and love it; what a difference compared to the South Bronx.
At COLUMBIA HICKS APTS I was offered and viewed a 509 sf studio with electric heat and AC,full size bath room with walk in shower,nice kitchen for $873 a month and indoor parking space for my SUV for $250 a month.
Move in date in December if I sign the lease.
What do guys think good deal?

yep gem, a III. a bastardized III tho, but a III nonetheless. and life is one of those things that’s best not to think about.
