Last time I used Boston-based Gentle Giant (same them on a Discovery Channel / TLC series). They’ve been expanding into the NYC area in recent years. They’re great.
I’ve also heard great things about Flatrate.
the last time i moved i found two jamaican dudes on craigslist to move my stuff, myself and my dog. and they were totally smoking weed the whole time! ahahha they good, efficient, and cheap and were able to it last minute cuz the original man with a van i hired never showed!! and all my stuff was in the lobby in a building in harlem! total absurdity
