The worst movers are the Russian Jews. I think Kens would agree. I made the mistake of using them once and will never do it again. I think the packing tape alone was hundreds of dollars, even though I packed a lot myself. And they do the furniture extortion thing too.
I have never been to Brooklyn Produce Terminal. But I understand that there is very cheap produce (and flowers!) there. Have you been there, Dave? Is it worth a trip?

donatella, it’s the best, closest and cheapest place for plants & shrubs. I’m not sure if the produce places sell retail.
