Legion,
Laws don’t change because of change in administration. Holder is working with the same set of laws as his predecessor. If the gobment can’t make a case, it’s not because of some left wing conspiracy to let terrorists off the hook, but because their case is weak. And SOME, I repeat, SOME, of the cases they have are really weak. A defense attorney’s job is to defend their client, within the confines of the law. They are not there to just provide a show trial defense while everyone agrees behind the scenes that the person is guilty. That’s why the administration wanted to have public civilian trials, not closed door military tribunals. I think on the whole, that’s a good idea.
Finding one attorney, liberal or otherwise, who breaks the law in defense of their client, terrorist or otherwise, doesn’t prove anything, whatsoever.
I never have a problem with msn dot com tho’. Same email but it seems to pl;ay better when you have msn, not hotmail in the name. But yesterday was the first time in all the years I have that msn account that there was a problem. On the other hand the earthlink account is always a problem.
I was flying w/ Marlon Brando years ago & he joked w/ the stewardess that he had a bomb (thinking she’d recognize him & know it was a joke.) He was escorted off the plane by feds. We were held up for hours but we did take off eventually w/ him on board.
thanks for removing the post. obviously it was a joke about me doing anything for money. so from now i gotta stop spreading the word that ill do anything for money.
NY Guy7- Similar mindset, no?Rigid and limited to one issue.
Legion- so where is all the bitching about civilian trials that you posted when Bush was in office? *crickets*
Oh, I get it- it’s only an issue under Obama. By the way- ask some of the lawyers here to explain the concept of “defense attorney” to you and how it relates to the basic freedoms we enjoy in this country.

“Just got word that, in a few minutes, much of the last hour’s OT will cease to make any sense to the casual and uninformed reader.”
Thanks for the heads up, Slopey. I just cut & paste the entire thread for posterity. And to produce to the FBI when they show up at my door (again).
