DH – you know, I want to try that – I never did the Turkey sandwhich thing the next day. It was always just more plates of Leftovers straight through sunday – then by Sunday I usually made a sauce with meatballs b/c we were so sick of eating Tgiving dinner every meal!
Then what seems to be a weird phenomena starting to play out is that many hiring mangers don’t want to hire someone who IS jobless – so that’s a bit scary!
Yes…the landscape is completely different compared with past years. Some folks are flat-out facing the end of their careers, including several folks I know. The decision not to extend benefits will make things that much tougher. It ain’t easy these days.
I made this cranberry sauce in Kindergarten 57 years ago! 1 bag cranberries, one cup sugar, one thin-skinned seedless orange. Put ingredients in a food mill. (I guess now that we are in the 21st century one could use a food processor.) grind, done!

If you think about it, Thanksgiving dinner is kind of easy to prepare. Although it’s a lot of dishes, none of the dishes are very complicated.

Holy moley!! Just got a water bill. Half the previous daily usage but up 10 cents a gallon!
