G10, do you have multiple personalities? Yesterday you said, “No offense to the OT denizens – but I think I will follow Lechacal when he does blog wilding – I mean I am laughing out loud at some of the shit he is saying to people those poor people don’t have a clue!”
I was in New Orleans in April and thought it was great. Was only in French Quarter, Frenchmen Street, Fairgrounds, and then took the St. Charles Street Car to the end, but saw nothing but good stuff. Amazing food and music.
I am not saying that he didn’t do wrong. I am saying that I think the Republicans are making more of it than it is. If I didn’t know the actual charges and I only saw the headlines, I would think the guy stole a zillion bucks, and I think there are many people who just see an uppity black criminal who should be thrown in jail.
Pete -thank you. It’s a great job with a company I am very interested in and it pays very well – all things I can’t complain about – so I am praying. I sent a very good thank you note that reminded him why I am so awesome – ha!
I am embarrassed to admit – I have never been to New Orleans but want to.

How about the millions of dollars that he secured for the renovation of the Apollo theater? Remember what happened there? Nary a dime spent on the Apollo, and no accounting for whatever happened to that money.
How about the fact that he still holds onto 4 rent-controlled apartments in a prime complex? Is that in the spirit of the RC law?
Regardless of his being re-elected, his day is done. You think the house Democrats want Charlie in the limelight as they plot to make a comeback? He’s become an albatross.

Yes, I am very suspicious of the lifestyles a lot of politicians manage to lead without other apparent means of support.
