  1. Booth Babe Benson here, reporting back to the OT.

I survived booth duty, despite a bad ankle. Now it is off to a boozefest, sponsored by a customer. I’m going to try to hit up a jazz club after that.

    Later folks.

  2. slopefarm,

I understand that you object to making generalizations based on limited observation.
I would respectfully submit that you are throwing away the entire basis of Calculus and Human Neurophysiology.

Calculus is based on a basic asumption
that if something tends towards a point,
    it is that point.
Thus the idea of “limits” and “approaching zero”.
We can never define things entirely, but we know their
practical outcome. So when we calculate the area beneath a curve we set the “limits” of that equation at a reasonable estimate.

Human Neurophysiology works in much the same way, sort of like binary code. Either a neurotransmitter like serotonin is binding or it’s not. Our evolution is based on it because without setting established neuronal pathways, there is no reasoned thought.

    …to be continued. 😉

Hello Dad? I need more money next month. Yeah, cookie prices went up to $11.00. No. No. That’s how much they cost in New York City. Yeah. I know you can send me cookies from the Piggly Wiggly that are 2 for three dollars. Dad,you KNOW I’m sociologically and philisophically against those Piggly Wiggly cookies. Just send me the money”

    1910- that was hilarious!!!!
