Yep, Lech. My last job as artistic director ( we did training programs ofr first responders and the military) for a very small nonprofit. I did all their graphic work and designed and built all their training materials. COrporate world? Quell Horrores! 😉
Donatella- don’t forget the Salvation Army. They were also investigated and found to be a great organization that spent (I may not remember the exact figure) 75 cents of every donated dollar on providing services. Their administrative costs are kept low- they don’t do fancy offices and corporate jets. I have the utmost respect for them. And they don;t send disaster relief victims a bill for blankets and supplies. Yes- the Red Cross did that.

DING DING DING DING!!!! The federal subsidy of smugness. They walk around acting like they’re doing God’s work or whatever when actually they’re taking federally subsidized dollars to waste on self-aggrandizing events.
OK on a serious note though, so far I have heard the following candidates for non-sketchy nonprofits:
– Catholic Charities
– Salvation Army
– Red Cross
Any others? Let’s make a list.

My attention <> euphemism
Lynn Redgrave is Vanessa’s sister, not her daughter.
So legion, you have no idea whether this money is actually going where she says it does?
If you wipe your ass with a $100 bill is it OK cuz it’s just once a year?
…when you’re married,
