In NYC, you need licenses for everything and it is impossible to get a license to carry unless you have friends in high places. In LI and upstate all you need to buy a rifle is a DL. Alright? It’s all local. OK?
But absolute bans on firearm ownership recently been overturned as unconstitutional.
