  1. “In “Red Dawn” the Soviets can round up all the troublemakers because they all have registered their guns.”

Yeah, this is the big issue in NYC. Do you register ALL your guns and have this scenario happen? Or do you keep a lil’ something off the permit and take a huge risk.

  2. I was out at the shooting range the other day
    with legiondog.

so I was telling him how the “firestick” works.
After a few seconds he turns to me and says:

    “Firestick? Did you say firestick?
My friend that is a Winchester model 9422,
lever action rifle with exposed hammer.
    firestick, my ass.”

    then he walked away mumbling.

I watched that with a kid who eventually went on to West Point. When they show the passage of time onscreen he kept turning to my brother and me, “Dude, five months!!” “Six months!!” “Seven months!!”

    I love that movie.

  4. pete, I’ve been answering your questions without slogans, including the one about terrorism. But gun laws are strictly local. What’s legal depends on where you are. In NYC, you need licenses for everything and it is impossible to get a license to carry unless you have friends in high places. In LI and upstate all you need to buy a rifle is a DL. Alright? It’s all local. OK?

But absolute bans on firearm ownership recently been overturned as unconstitutional.

  5. quote:
wait, people choose neighborhoods based on their ability to get laid?!

    okay, it’s trash time. goodbye

  6. “wait, people choose neighborhoods based on their ability to get laid?!”

I need to get laid. I prolly shouldn’t air our dirty laundry in the OT, but let’s just say the ladies of the OT are NOT putting out.
