  1. DIBS, are you trying to set me up with all those spelling errors in your response? As in:

I comment on them, you call me out for being obsessed, etc?

If you want to set me up for the kill, you are going to have to be a little more subtle than that!

Of course, I got a very detailed written report. The “childlike” comment was an off the cuff remark. Basically, all the work was done poorly, not to code, and requiring repair or replacement.

  2. Feminism is fascism? Your “feminism” is. Palin is as much a feminist as any of your heros. She will get closer to the Presidency than any of the “deep thinkers” you think are feminists.

The first woman President will be a Republican. Maybe not Sarah Palin, but seeing that happen, and all the phonies who would not be happy with that will be delicious to see.

I didn’t say you shouldn’t care about abortion. I said you should care about it amongst 50 or 100 other issues. Otherwise, you are as stupid as “those people” who will not vote as those wackos who will only vote for a candidate who opposes abortion.

  4. “I’d add, though, that in addition to her lack of intellectual curiosity, she shows contempt for intellectuals and those with intellectual curiosity, as if being an intellectual is a bad thing in and of itself.”

To which intellectuals do you refer? Leftist intellectuals? The ones proven wrong again and again and again? She seems to be up on Milton Freedman, Thomas Jefferson, and Edmund Burke.
You mean the intellectuals who admire communism?

As Thomas Sowell has said, only on the left can you be proven wrong many, many times, and still garner respect.

  5. Q: For all you people that think we need to politely dance/tiptoe around Palin and/or might vote for her. What, precisely, do you think this would accomplish? Aside from spiting the lefties and others who scorn her.

A: She would stop doing harm, or do much less harm. She would help restore/promote the proper role of the federal government which is a limited, smaller government that intrudes less in the lives of Americans. She actually likes her country, and believes in American exceptionalism. And about 50 other things.

Q: Gain esteem in the international community?
A: Since most of the “international community” consists of immoral, non-democratic countries, why would you even want this?

I want most of the “international community” to be afraid of the United States, and respect it. The countries I care about think less of the USA with Obama than they did under, e.g., President Bush.

    Q: Lower the national debt
    A: Yes.

Q: Rid the world of terrorists?
A: Yes, because they would know, or the countries harboring them, would know that they will be erased if they don’t get their acts together–notice how much less terrorism there is under Obama? Oh wait; there’s more.

  6. “I’d add, though, that in addition to her lack of intellectual curiosity, she shows contempt for intellectuals and those with intellectual curiosity, as if being an intellectual is a bad thing in and of itself.”

And this is THE primary reason I dislike her.
