I don’t vote for judge candidates unless I know the person or something about him/her. Our system of nominating and electing is hideous, particularly here in BK. At least in Manhattan the parties screen for quality and have mildly separated the process from themselves. There is really no way to make the selection of judges apolitical, but the way we do it for the local bench is ridiculous.
Brooklyn Couch is right. Abortion is in the hands of the courts and has already been decided.
What are your thoughts on gay marriage??? that too seems to be out of the hands of the governors and in the courts. They’ll rule in favor of it based on constitutional law.
The fact that women are threatened, and thus hate Palin is hilarious. HILARIOUS. It shows the hypocrisy/fascism that is “feminism”; abortion uber alles! Like nothing else matters; like Cuba and various other places are better because abortion is encouraged!

But at least with a President Palin, we wouldn’t be slipping or speeding in a socialist death spiral.

I think Barbara Boxer will hold on in California; Blumenthal will win in CT; Rubio takes Florida; and whoever is running against the witch wins Delaware.
I also think Jerry Brown gets elected CA Governor. Again.
DCB, for an engineer to assess the work as “childlike” doesn’t mean very much and is not helpful.
As an example, if the BX cable was run “in a childlike manner” but is still BX cable and met code, it’s still BX cable and meets code.
If some of the plumbing decisions were childlike yet the plumbing is still high copper and the drains and vents are OK, then it’s OK.
I’ve never heard an inspection come back as “choldlike” and I’ve di=one about a dozen over the years. I hear this guy has a goo reputation but for him to tell you it was childlike and not offer specifics….that’s a waste of your money.
