  1. Well Helloooooooooo!!

    Nice day out, isn’t it?

Gee, I wonder why I’m feeling so good?

    …oh, that’s right.
    It’s Election Day 2010. :o)

    Harry Reid. bubuy

    Nancy Pelosi. bubuy

…and say hello to my little friend:
    Senator Marco Rubio from Florida.

    Si Se Puede!

  2. lechacal, I know you don’t care, but whenever you write about women, I need to turn this off for a while. Actually, that goes for half this board. (I mean, “It shows the hypocrisy/fascism that is “feminism””… wtf?)

I know a lot of liberal women and wouldn’t describe a single one as being “threatened” by Palin. Maybe it’s the company you keep?

  3. I was afraid the lil’ old ladies would jam up the scanner thing, so I made sure to go just after 6am. Went well.

Since I am increasingly of the belief that radical change is needed, I voted for Paladino and the repub comptroller. Demo the rest of the way.

WTF is with the 6pt type on the ballots? Mrs D says feds require 12pt type in health care docs. Another reason to vote repub, lol.

  4. hey m4l, don’t let dona discourage you to much… it’s a lot of fun doing a big reno, in spite of what you hear. Yes it will take longer and cost more than you tink, but in teh end you’ll have learned a lot and created a space exactly to your own rqmts. Having said that, personally my work schedule is much more flexible than most people’s.

  5. Lech who says women are threatened by Palin? I don’t like her, so I’m threatened by her? I prefer my politicians well-read, educated, and introspective to a certian degree. I also prefer they are smarter than me. I am confident she doesn’t meet any of these criteria, on top of us holding opposite views on most policies. What does that have to with feeling threatened? That’s actually a pretty sexist opinion– that my opinion of her, as a woman voter, is controlled by gender politics.

  6. Much as I loathe her & her values, I think Palin is brilliant. She did get into office in Alaska & has parlayed her McCain-given profile into being a major player.
I think that abortion is at risk & I am feeling totally disenfranchised from the whole judicial branch – Clarence (no affirmative action) Thomas, Darwin-denying Scalia & Kennedy(& you complain that Palin isanti-intellectual?), it’s a sick gerontology of misanthropes.
