  1. Bif, unlike many of the other PLUSA’s, I am dropping hollow political discourse and concentrating on becoming a crony capitalist.

As one of the few sensible and humorous losers, and our esteemed president, I am extending an invitation to join me.

You wrote: “during which time I am hoping to straighten things out.”

I interpreted this to mean “make bucket loads of money”. Exactly the attitude I am looking for!

If I am misinterpreting, please disregard the above invitation.

  2. “CGar, from one of your earlier posts today, it was unclear to me whether you were in love with Sarah or enamored with Todd. 🙂 🙂 ha”

prezanon, I was in love with Sarah. For 2 weeks in August-September 2008.

My Todd comment was a joke for the poster formerly known as Todd Palin.

  3. >even the French “right” is left. Totally true, but in a very elitist, classist way.

And BTW, French women have more babies than women in any other European country. And who wouldn’t, when even the rich get a “famille nombreuse” discount for three kids or more – means 1/2 price for life on subways, movies, and more!

And to be unemployed is every French person’s dream, cause that’s 1/2 price on everything, too (including movies).

  4. Oh, just to make more heads explode, one of my five favorite blogs is Hillbuzz.org: Chicago-based gay conservatives who support Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin equally; HRC would get their vote if they competed. I don’t agree liking Palin and HRC makes sense, but they at least get that Obama is a Demon.

  5. Here’s a prediction:

if Obama doesn’t do a course-correction after today’s “thumping” (ala Bill Clinton in 1994) and the Dems continue to slide, Hillary will make a go of it in 2012 to “rescue the party”. If you think that this is far-fetched, I point out that Ted Kennedy ran against Jimmy Carter – a sitting president – in 1980.
