Lech – HA! – sorry dude, I drive a BMW, no need for me to add anything to my precious jewel. I can’t stand all these crap cars running around with weird muffler or nitro buttons to make them “sound” like a sports car
“Yeah – it used to be you could decide to build something and push the little people out of the way in the name of progress. That’s how the stuff that makes our country work got built. Now these assholes like Daniel Goldstein and their fellow sniveling cause-heads stop just about every major advance you can think of. Result: stasis. And stasis = mediocrity = death.”
Well while that maybe true – I would also add that money plays a bigger role than some community board crying about shit they don’t want/like
Yes, I can’t wait. Originally my wife wanted to get a cat. However, when she saw the look on my face every time she mentioned it, she knew my heart was not into it and she changed her mind.
benson, glad to see/hear you’re getting another dog! That’s really great!
And, Gem, any time you want to come meet CDog, since I know you love Chows.
Actually, this is prolly as good a time as any to say, you prolly shouldn’t wait too long. As Biff and Cobble and DH who have seen her recently can attest, she’s really, really slowed down in the past 2 months or so. Very hard to support herself with her back legs. On the positive side, she still has her appetite, runs and spins like a puppy at the beginning of her walks, and can still walk and jump up to her bed in the garden. But, she’s going to be 16, and her life expectancy is 10-12. Very, very upsetting.
I would just like to be able to drive on NYC roadways that don’t have potholes/sinkholes and ditches that TEAR up my Low-Pro tires”
hahahahahaha you have lo pros. Do you have a high-flo muffler system too? Curb feelers?
“Ah so you guys are saying that b/c of people protesting for whatever their M.O. is – these big scale projects get derailed? Interesting -I hadn’t really thought of it like that.”

I went on a walking tour of Bushwick once. It was supposed to be two hours but for some reason the guide decided to extend it. We started at the junction and walked up to Washington Irving HS.

Hope you all have a fun lunch tomorrow. Unfortunately, my day is back to back meetings. But maybe another Friday.
