Not sure if your boy is old enough but the haunted house walk staged by the Society for Clinton Hill is wonderful. My daughter was very scared of masks and painted faces (and clowns and dogs) and although she really wanted to go, she never made it to more than one house and then we’d just go home and give out candy. But the decorated houses are spectacular and it’s a wonderful event.
