  1. almost all teachers I know are seemingly dedicated. But after so many years of different management initiatives they become frustrated – not being able to teach as they believe is best – but being dictated by whatever trendy method the current/new administration (by way of public) thinks is ‘in’ this year.

    that myth has been debunked. at least for current entry level jobs anyway. also women get maternity leave. some progressive companies do give paternity leave tho. where the hell is my pitbull leave, huh!?!? having to have a dog walker is just as cumbersome as a nanny. at least i know my dog walking service is PAYING TAXES!!

    Generally, in the free market, you get paid based on merit. I know there is the odd exception, but you can’t compare it to a union environment where everyone makes the same no matter how good or bad they are.
