“DH – dear god the electric heaters are EXPENSIVE and bad we found we had to run them at “80” just to get the place warm however the apt we rented was drafty
good luck”
ugh – oh no. how did your bathrooms get heat from those things? i have a random vent in my bathroom but it seems like it’s an intake rather than exhaust. It’s way too far from the unit to get enough heat to keep it warm i’m assuming.
“DH, maybe I recommend you stock up on nice thermal PJ’s – that’s how big the electric bill will be (ie enough for you to be discouraged to turn it on)”
yeah – i’m fucked. my biggest electric bill during the summer was $170 – and my apartment is like 450sqft. Can’t imagine high ceilings and concrete will make heating any easier.
I turned heat on a bit over wkend so tenants would get some heat in mornings. But turned it off again now because will be quite warm this week.
All depends where your apt. is situated…if enclosed on both sides, top and bottom by nicely heated apts., you won’t probably need to use yours that much.
I agree with 50% of those only jackal.
Yes, the first story, Gem.

That 60 Minutes piece was very chilling. Best piece they’ve had in a long time.
