I know, arkady, a rough summer for you in what was otherwise a great summer for pools. Hopefully you’ll enjoy the pool a lot next summer while gazing at sunflowers. I’ve got a bunch of seeds for you, although I’ve now pulled out all the stalks, to snappy’s dismay.
I told MM that stuy-hts really needs to start a committee to tear down all the flyers there. Such a nice area destroyed by notices taped to poles, trees, and by PLUSAs buying homes.
Donatella: just joking, though it is getting tougher to be a road warrior as time goes on. My wife keeps asking me: when will we have a normal life? She’s tired of being alone for weeks at a time.
Prezanon: Tel Aviv is pretty safe. In fact, you hardly see any police or military on the street.
I’m thinking of taking Montrose to Tel Aviv. If you think we’ve got Fedder specials in Brooklyn, you ought to check out the apartment flats here. The apartment blocks built right after Israel’s foundation are particularly hideous. Squat, raw concrete buildings, pock-marked with A/C’s everywhere. More recent housing here is quite nice, however.
OK, I’ve fought jet lag long enough. Time to go to sleep. Bye!

“Next year has to be better!”
Cheers to that, Arkaday!

“Pete tends to howl at the moon when lesbiman lets him out at night.”
Lesbiman let’s him out? : P
parade too much these days. way too too many people.
dibs – It was harder than usual to close the pool this year since I’d had so little use of it. Next year has to be better!

“no way in heck would I get near that parade.”
I can’t take the crowds. Why won’t you go, Pete?
