Social Network is one of the best movies I’ve seen in years!
(It’s also one of the only movies I’ve seen in years.)
I think the NYT article this weekend was right: First time I’ve seen this world that I live in depicted in the movies.
The story is fiction, but it’s so well done.
Also, the drugs, girls, and sex part is also fiction. Except for the crazies part, like the girl who tries to set her boyfriend’s house on fire, that part was highly realistic. I mean Silicon Valley, half conservative boring nerdy etc. and half crazy girls with maybe not that much going on chasing the conservative boring etc. Oh the stories I could tell — like the girlfriend of a well known CEO who wanted to have a four-way with me and my friend….
How about a PLUSA party to the Village Halloween Parade?????
Sounds good to me! Also dibs, you may want to know that Coney Island is having Nights of Horror at Coney Island for the next few Friday and Saturday nights. For a price you can enter Luna Park and go into the House of Horrors with scary characters to entertain you, Brooklyn style. (on a TV ad, they had a scarecrow with a Hannible Lector type mask, buzzing a real chain saw.) Coney Island is freaky by itself, I would pay to see what they come up with that tops the regular Coney vibe.

Benson, take CGar next time as your Secret Service man. He has successful history with guarding the OT President.
Some may remember that Gorbachev eluded the US Secret Service many times because he wanted an authentic American experience.
Benson, I was kidding about Tel Aviv. Forgot to make smiley face after such serious stuff about Beirut. 🙂

Ok Benson, I’m teasing. I know what you mean. I haven’t done the road warrior thing for a while but it can be exhausting. Have a good rest.
2 hours till the debate! I’m going to be glued to the set, as they say. Snaps, if you can’t see it, and want to…come on over! BH is out, we can hang.
CGar, when are you buying that hicks place so I dont have to move to bay ridge?
