“it turns out that the father, Artie Bellucci, was a broker at Corcoran’s office in Brooklyn Heights”
Good heavens. He was the selling agent on one of the studios I looked at earlier this year. Only met him that time but he did seem like a very pleasant and straightforward guy. RIP.
CGar — I hear you. I got stuck just trying to log in. Very slow.
DIBS — I was in your neck of the woods yesterday afternoon. My family and I were at a private party for an artist at the Plastic Club on S. Camac near Locst/Spruce. We walked a bit around Quince as well.
I’ve already discussed this with cobble, dave and Biff, but for others who may not know, if anyone has been following the horrific and very sad story about the parents on Staten Island who were killed last week by their schizophrenic son, well, it turns out that the father, Artie Bellucci, was a broker at Corcoran’s office in Brooklyn Heights. I didn’t know him well, but brokers in the office tell me he was the nicest guy you’d ever want to meet.
server issues, not competition, takes down Stoner blog

You’d need to put 100k in this, but could be very cool. I’d add a second bedroom upstairs
And now there is a bike thread, site will be craptacular all day, I’ll try again tomorrow.
Oh fer f*cksake. I give up. I’ll check back later. I can’t sit here and read if the refresh takes a full minute.
CGar, OMG. Art was my fav broker to contact when I was looking around BK Heights and BoCoCa back in the 2001-2002. he was honest and not a salesman.
