OK you know how I’ve been saying I really like the vibe at PS 107? This morning I walked past PS 321 at drop off time and I have to say I get the exact OPPOSITE vibe. Super crowded, pushy parents. Super annoying vibe. In the 15 seconds it took to walk by I wrote off 100% of the school as overbearing botox loving helicopter parents who all mistakenly think their kids are gifted and want to learn Chinese when they’re 6 years old.
Great weekend. Went to the aviation museum in Long Island. Great museum, kids loved it, I loved it, and it’s almost empty. I can’t believe there aren’t more people there. They have lots of great aircraft on display, and kids can sit in lots of coctpits (bit hit). They also have a full lunar lander on display that was made for the final lunar mission that was cancelled when they axed the apollo program. If that mission had gone forward, it would be on the surface of the moon instead of on Long Island.
Also had b-day party for jackal no 2, and read a bunch of Rabbit, Run and started Germinal.

• causing distress or trouble : a painful experience.
Let’s try using it in a few sentences.

Mr. B, it is the homework assignment of your tech team to write the word *PAINFUL* 1000 times on the blackboard. I’ll be back later to check their progress.
::handing you a metal ruler::
Feel free to crack their knuckles with this ruler should they goof off instead of writing.
I’m out too. Transaction costs of trying to read and post are wayyyyyyyy too high. If anyone hangs around, please email and let me know if the site migrates to a server made after 1980.
CGar, re broker, I didn’t know who the SI couple was initially, but the story is truly heartbreaking. It is such a tragedy the guy couldn’t have been hospitalized to have prevented this horrific act. What a sad story.
Hey, Mr. B. has a big problem on his hands with this site. I am too busy today to be focusing on this, so have a good day all.
