  1. donatella, my buddy said northern/upper Hoboken is more family setup and housing stock is nice. the premium ones in BK is really irrelevant to me as I can afford them. Moving to NJ is not my top choice but given NYC has priced me out, I have to explore options (ie deeper into BK like bay ridge, jersey city, hoboken, renting)

  2. yeah im from hudson county, born in jersey city and grew up outside of there. it is a very corrupt county fer sure. that’s how my grandparents were able to snag a 35 dollar a month, utilities included, 2 bedroom with private garage apartment in the projects.

hoboken used to be nice and middle class but it’s infested with hardcore yuppie trash who can’t afford the more gentrified sections of nyc. really vile place.

it does have some projects tho so it kinda balances things out.

    *rob*

  3. Hoboken is not that nice, though, M4L. I don’t think the building stock is that great and it is the 20 something bar capital of the NorthEast. Jersey City has nice brownstones but it is just…well….Jersey City. And it is Hudson County which is an unpredictable, terrible place full of corruption we NYC innocents can only imagine.
