  1. M4L, hmm…could there be a place you could afford that requires work in Clinton Hill? I think there are still some deals out there. Fillmore finds these places. But then that requires the whole construction thing which is really taxing.

  2. What did he say, anwyays? Something about gays I gather. Does someone have an actual transcript of what he said? I’m not interested in a news article or some other filtered source. I’m only interested in a transcript.

agreed with Dona about the housing stock in Hoboken – it’s not as “brownstone/tree lined” as Jersey City – but there are a few blocks that are pretty off Washington Avenue
That said – I loved living in Jersey City off Grove street and the house prices are much cheaper than BK – the problem that I see about JC is the housing market is flat and I don’t feel lots of the people that have moved into the nabe will stay there for 5,10+ years like we all do here in BK – so that’s an issue – also the schools there aren’t that great

Lech – that vermont weekend sounds unreal

Um, why do we even still celebrate this day as a national holiday where businesses and schools close down?

  4. I’m not going to review the Paladino discussion dibs. I assume it was the usual suspects loudly asserting how dumb, uneducated, crackpot, crazy, lunatic, fringe, low IQ, etc etc etc etc Paladino is, without actually addressing anything of substance.

In other words, I think I can safely assume the Paladino discussion perfectly demonstrates why ordinary people should not be given the vote. Universal suffrage is simply a mistake. I could go over there and get more proof, but I’m busy today.

  5. Dave, with all due respect, and with something one could only describe — charitably — as befuddlement, I am mercifully speechless with your support and intention to cast a vote for, Paladino.

    Nuff.

CGar, I actually broke my proverbial cherry last night by singing my very first kareoke song at a dive place in Chinatown called Winnie’s. It was a ladies night out, and I was pressured beyond pressured. But I did it! And having crossed that line, I can now allllmmmmmost guarantee, that I’ll be able to sing with you at Montero’s. If you’ll have me!
