whenever i move i always leave all my shi+ and start fresh. i can’t be asked to be transferring furniture from apt to apt. there’s always new furniture to be had on the street. (tho it should be thoroughly inspected for bedbugs of course)

But it’s not costly to mount a tv! You buy the appropriate VESA wall mount, find the studs and hang that baby. If you pay someone else to do it, I fear you homeowners on this site are simply not handy. Not nearly as handy as you think you are!

DIBS, refrain from disclosing to the buyer how much action you’ve got on which piece of furniture, etc.
M4L, we ordered the house-made pretzel with butter and mustard, herb & gruyere chees statzle, beef sauerbrated & braised red cabbage (slow braised beef brisket in red wine, vinegar & juniper berries with braised cabbage and pretzel dumplings) and surkrut garnie (slow cooked pork belly, thuringian bratwurst, calf tongue and knackwurst served with housemade sauerkraut). I really like tongue and the calf tongue was tasty, but I don’t feel good about eating baby cows.
(I looked up the menu now to provide the detailes of the dishes above – I could never remember that)
We also had a light German beer that was very good.
snappy, wall mounted TV – more common for seller to negotiate that into sale as it’s costly to mount it and the cost benefit is not there to take it down and take it to new place. better to buy a new bigger better tv in the new place which one might not have to mount (ie on top of a tv unit)

As several PLUSAs can tell you (and Montrose would have been able to were she not such a tease), I am an excellent host, even though my current guest accommodations leave a bit to be desired.
When I sell my place I’ll offer most of the furniture with it.
