6/10 adults and 4/10 children in NYC are obese. Getting this off the news where they are reporting on Bloomberg’s push to eliminate soft drinks being available for purchase with food stamps.
The basis is that the money comes from the taxpayers and is available for the betterment of their health. I agree with him

Biff…I’ve published a few times here about that coffee. I had it in Vietnam where I first learned about it. I believe donatella or WonTon has also had it.

I totally do the same thing. When I sit, that is. I mostly stand. I used to stand 100% of the time but with the new commute sometimes I sit.
That’s sad, Bxgrl. I too often think about people I knew when I was young who aren’t around anymore. There are quite a few now.
Rob, you should go to films at Cobble Hill Cinema. If you get bored, they have that claw game in the lobby where you can spend $20 attempting to win a 50 cent tiny stuffed animal while your friends enjoy the rest of the movie.

I’m with Rob on this one.
That said I solve this by not going to movies at all, rather than going for as long as I can stand & then walking out.
