I’m thinking of seeing it tonight.
ENY- years ago when I went to my ex’s family reunions, the little kids used to come up and rub my skin. They were so fascinated- they had only seen a few white people up close. But when one of the said she wanted to have my skin color I told her no, she didn’t. She was beautiful as she was. And she was- but she died at 17 from a drug overdose and it still kills me to think of the beautiful little girl she once was.
