Kens, long time ago, but you should have no trouble parking near the Children’s Museum during the week. That block of St. Marks has diagonal parking on the museum side, and regular parking on the other side, plus there’s always space in the area.
Weekends, sometimes not, but even then if you drive around enough, a space opens up.
Ringo, I don’t know if/how long you’ve had kids in public schools but I think it’s a crime how little time is spent on stuff that’s not on the test. The lack of social studies and science is particularly disgusting. So many kids getting to high school not knowing a ton of stuff that we learned in elementary school, stuff that EDUCATES them. And these kids can get 4s on math and ELA (English/Language Arts) tests.
I also believe in accountability but this is not the right way. And the DOE and Bloomberg are so full of sh*t about it.
you’re still very young, lech. As get older eyes can’t adjust as quickly to light changes and sunglasses protect. I rarely used when younger.
And, rf, caps also used as visor to keep sun out of eyes and for us fair-skinned bald people easy to get burned on the keppe. Then often becomes habit to wear.
