I’m sure that’s true, rf. The schools I’m most familiar with have really great science programs. I’ve been impressed by how little “teaching to the test” there is. But I know my experience is not typical. It’s a different student population.
I’m mostly concerned about the schools that regularly have kids who score 1/2s on the tests. Year after year. Generation after generation. Not good enough.
Regarding sunglasses. Indoor sunglasses are rude. and silly. but I agree with Pete. Eyeglasses are like SPF for the retina. They prevent cataracts, damage to the retina, and make it easier to see. Particularly as pete points out when you get a little older and they pupils don’t respond as quickly to changes in light.
Just no more pork pie hats please.
more4less, that’s funny, I am actually an identical twin.
“Lech, dibs, denton, ENY, CMU, JESTER,…….
On baseball caps, would you ever consider a Panama hat, i.e. a Borsalino?”
I don’t have the look to pull that off. Too white. Plus the regular at my local who wears one would think I’m trying to copy him.

You were supposed to come over here and point him out to me.
dibs, were you in “jail” downstairs. Wonder if it’s still around, been almost 20 years since I was in crisco bar.
In bright sun if i don’t wear sunglasses I sneeze on you.
