“Does anyone just purely enjoy watching CBS Sunday morning? I love love that show so much”
Really Gem? I TiVo all the Sunday morning shows and watch selectively — I like the roundtables, can’t stand the talking points spewed by the politicos, left and right — but that is the only show I don’t like and don’t watch.
Jester- don’t you just love it? I mean I watch it and 60 minutes religiously. I just like the way the stories are handled, put together and then presented in a way that is neither “right nor left” but just….interesting
you know I never really watch EArly Show – but will give it a shot
“ugh you people yammering on and on saying the same things over and over while poor lindsay lohen is stuck in rehab right this second and they aren’t letting her tweet about it!”
Legion, as usual, that’s a smokescreen argument. A red herring. It has nothing whatsoever to do with whether or not the Tea Party has been coopted by its lunatic fringe. It’s an anecdote, an incident, nothing more.
I don’t know the case you are talking about, but please. I’m sure I can waste my time finding many, many cases of people who did heinous and racist things during Republican administrations, who were not prosecuted. In fact, I’m sure there are a few cases that took place withing the last ten years, especially during the election. But that is neither here nor there. Finding such cases proves nothing.
You want to argue about the policies of the Tea Party, which has been pointed out, does not have a cohesive platform, then go ahead. But pulling a story out of thin air to prove Dems, or Obama administration people are not perfect is silly and counterproductive. It also does not prove or even illustrate your point.

There’s extra sandwiches, salad and dessert in the conference room.
I used to like posting that at the old office because etson would see it and come by.

I meant McCarthy, not MacArthur. The General had his issues, but fascism wasn’t one of them.
