  1. I think I’ve hurt cmu’s feelings by pointing out that he’s a dumbass so many times. He just keeps coming back and trying to prove he’s got game. You’re getting better cmu, but you’re still not there.

  2. And the idea that some Democrats and liberals and even moderates are finally getting angry enough to fight back, and to get so frustrated that expletives like “f*cker” slip out, then GOOD! And it doesn’t come close to moral equivalence.

Encouraging fellow tea partiers to “take up arms” against this administration and liberals, calling Obama a terrorist, a Socialist Hitler, making fun of people in ill health or in wheel chairs, blaming those who are out of work for their plight, suggesting we turn prisons into “welfare hotels” (Paladino), promising to legislate that women MUST carry the fetus’s and babies of their rapists…

I’m getting too sick to go on. I bite my tongue before saying something attacking of you.

  3. >>”she’d like it to be reset and is uncomfortable wearing the same exact ring that his ex-wife did. He doesn’t want to change it. Thoughts? ”
    >my thought — heteros are such drama queens.

Agreed. If it’s a real heirloom, the point is NOT to have it redone. Else it’s no longer an heirloom. Of course, my take on it is any woman who wants an engagement ring (with diamond) is high-maintenance, over-traditional and not worth the trouble.

  4. new poll—>”According to the Siena poll, Cuomo was the favored candidate of 57 percent of voters, Paladino netted 24 percent and Conservative Party candidate Rick Lazio took 8 percent.”

  5. quote:
it seems like kids also NEED a computer for school/homework. I feel really bad for kids that don’t have the means or access to one. Not every child gets a fair chance.

yeah that is sad, but they could always go to the public libraries. i would hope/imagine that kids doing homework would get priority for at least some of the computers, right? before i got a computer in 9th grade i had to go to the library to type up my reports.

however i will say i have NEVER seen a kid in nyc, regardless of income, or neighborhood, who doesnt have a cell phone that’s 10x more expensive than mine, a wardrobe that is 10x more expensive than mine, ipod, etc etc. ah well
