So I take it you believe that the notion of a Liberal Arts education being critical in the development of a truly free and open-minded person who is learning (from skilled educators, hopefully) how to learn, is simply more elitist liberal poofery?

Tracking kids from the age of 12 or 13 in some modern-day version of medieval apprenticeships is a GREAT idea. Love it. Let’s see if we can widen that chasm between the have’s and have-not’s juuuusssst a wee bit more… THERE. That oughta do it.

MM, you should start a nonprofit. The main purpose would be fund-raising for the facade improvements, etc. that would be necessary once the landmark districts in Bed Stuy and CHN are expanded. No reason not to take a hefty Executive Director salary.

I’d like to make it, its close to my office, but tomorrow will be tight, I’ve got a neice’s 18th birthday extravaganza kicking off early in beautiful Satan island.
