  1. Our national policy towards Cuba needs serious change. It’s ridiculous, and based on fifty year old Cold War politics and the political power of a dwindling group of anti-Castro expatriot Cubans.

Before anyone thinks I’m defending Castro, I am not. We deal with Russia, Viet Nam, China, and a host of other former and current enemies and nations with policies we don’t agree with, yet we treat this tiny country 50 miles off shore like nuclear waste. We’re an elephant being menaced by a mouse, and we look silly.

Especially when there are so many easy ways around our embargos and travel and trade restrictions.

    OK, I haven’t left yet.

    ha ha donatella,

does that mean we would set up
    shop in Park Slope?
    most PLUSAs live there.

We could do it at a subway station. I don’t need the Plexiglas. A very self loathing station might be….hmm….Bergen F Train.

  3. “If any of you have web design expertise I have a business proposal for you.”

DIBS, you need someone with more programming/coding experience to get you started. NOT a web designer. Web designer will help you work on the “look and feel” after or alongside the programmer/coder doing the actual build out of the site. This is heavy database stuff, look is secondary to functionality. Happy to chat about what/who you should look for.
