i agree with wasder.
i personally dont feel comfortable with a born again christian in the white house actually (im sure there were others tho before, no?). im fine with religious people whatever they want to be, as long as they blabber on and on about it. should definitely be a private thing, and no one elses business.
im just laughing cuz pretty much every single reality tv show contestant on any show who has been born again christian has been a total snoozefest (except for robin from ameriaca’s next top model 2) and wouldnt shut up about their religion and usually seemed to force it down the throats of the other houseguests. leave that shi+ at the door, you’re here to cheat and lie to make a million dollars. sorry but im pretty sure whatever god you proclaim to worship doesnt approve!
Pete, that bit about your coworker hitting you up for a 200 dollar loan…. I look at loans as losses. If I get the money back, great. That’s why I don’t lend anybody money unless they are really close friends in which case they would be hesitant to ask and would only ask if they were in trouble, I want to and I have the money to toss to the wind (and don’t mind tossing it to the wind). Otherwise I just tell the truth, I don’t have the money to lend. (to them)
I just got 500 dollars back from a friend from 5 years ago. I thought that was pretty good.
The right’s insistance on some kind of free-floating six degrees of separation in Obama’s life is really getting more and more absurd and desperate every day.
There is so much wrong with the world, and instead of spending their time trying to figure out how to improve things, they are holed up somewhere with charts trying to connect the lines between Obama and Satan himself. They’ve already connected him to Hitler, so they are almost there.
It would benefit Mr. B greatly if he put up a daily Political Thread on the front page.
Not many venture into the OT but I think many might be interested in discussing these issues.

ET, FYI a good host provides a fresh merkin for all houseguests

Pedro, I’m seriously considering getting a tattoo.

I agree with wasder. It’s called the separation of church and state and it was so important that it was written into the constitution.
OK fellas, break up the verification line.
Cobble,
they’re all gone now. can I get a quick peek?
Sorry Cgar–was away from computer all day…
