I just got back from a county society meeting
where the best thing we accomblished was
drinking alot of wine.
I didn’t mean to come off as being “sneaky” or “clever” by pointing out the circular logic in many of our arguments.
I enjoy our discussions despite what you may think
and I value your opinions.
If it makes you feel better, apparently one of the State Society members is as annoyed at me as you are since I had to fend off attacks by him regarding an important issue during my presentation. I held my own though since he didn’t realize how much practice I get at arguing here in the OT. 😉
btw, did you know that the Universe has its own sound?
Buhddist philosophy just gets more and more fascinating.
It’s not quite “ohmmmmmmmmmmmm”
In fact I can’t even describe it since it is apparently in an octave 200 wavelengths below the threshold of human perception.
But it’s there.
As are many things if we choose to look.
donatela- Love Colin Powell and agree about Deepak Chopra. I see his name and I think, snake oil salesman! He is so Uriah Heepish it’s a wonder he doesn’t choke on his own smarm.

That’s your assumption that we staunchly oppose religious individuals. I certainly don’t. I know for a fact MM sure as hell doesn’t. What we do oppose are those religious individuals who feel the need to force their beliefs on everyone- something Obama does not do. But that stand is probably too nuanced for you to get.
As for your comment on Obama’s omission- what was the point, really? And what waste your time on such nonsense when you have much more important things to worry about. And please don’t pat yourself on the back over how clever you think you are.
You frustrate us because your “logic” is a poorly thought out chain of misbegotten gotchas, not because you run rings around us.
