  1. park_sloper, yes, he’s very much like that and has lived in the U.S. longer than in DK, but will never give up his DK citizenship. His route to publication and his writing process if very interesting, and I’ll fill you in when I see you in person next.

Rob’s boyfriend was from Long Island
Rob’s boyfriend acted like an asshole
Therefore all people from Long Island are assholes.

    Not exactly Cartesian logic, Rob.

Maybe not but more than likely true!!!!

  3. there is a whole list dedicated on that site i believe for costumes white people like… they are pretty spot on, especially with ET saying what she wore.

im not even thinking about halloween this year until very close it, i get so excited arfound this time of year about halloween and then without fail it’s usually a total bust.
i wish they had for halloween what they have for christmas, like those christmas savings accounts? forgot what they are aclled, but where you put in a little bit of money all year and take it out on christmas? do they still have those? was that a white trash / ghetto thing? i never hear about those anymore.. christmas club accounts i think they are called!!

  4. cgar, ew.

i remember when i lived with my ex boyfriend and he would have guests over he would drag me to fairway and make me pay for half of the stuff even tho they were so NOT my guests. m

never once did he pay for half of anything that my guests would like or something i did pick up for them. nope!! his guests were “real guests” and according to him mine were “just scrubs” :-/

never date anyone from long island, they are all total ass-holes.

  5. Hah, just checked out ‘stuff white people like’ for the first time in a long while.
I still score well below 50% (close to 25% on a glance).
Guess pasty and white are different things.

  6. I hate rude hosts! but seems like my family (by marriage) is full of them.
Drive a zillion hours to family”s house. Get there in the wee hours of the morning. I’m dead exhausted as I did most of driving. upon arriving, sis-n-law greets us and then goes to check her email. Hello! which bedroom should we use? I had to go to all of them, see which one was empty.
Teen son’s bedroom was empty for us to use. I had to tiptoe thru a maze of books, clothes, paper to get to bed and then push books, clothes off of bed to lay down. Next morning, I demanded the kid clean his room and new sheets on bed. Hey, he’s a teen, lord knows what were on those sheets.

  7. BH, you dont think lots of those pricey houses in prime BK arent bought by rev generating bank employees? not talking about the bank executives but the rev generating bank employees banks will still have to pay (ie via squeezing pay of the back office dime-a-dozen employees)
